This Simply Adorable Shawl is an amazingly versatile pattern. perfect for beginners and experienced knitters alike. It can be made in any yarn with any needle. Just keep knitting to obtain your desired size! Wear as a shawlette or as a kerchief style scarf and enjoy compliments all day long! Shawl shown is used 175yds bulky weight yarn on US 15 needles. Shawl Dimensions shown above: 56" on long side x 2l" from top to point

Abbreviations:
BO	bind off
CO	cast on
k	knit
kb	increase: knit into the front and back OF stitch
p	jnd
pm	place marker
sm	slip marker
yo	yarn over

For a Materials:

-at least 175 yds Bulk OR at least 22O yds worsted OR at least 275 yds DK OR at least 325 yds fingering -32" circular needle 2 sizes larger than suggested needle for your yarn -stitch markers -darning needle

Pattern:

Using long tail method. co 5 sts Row 1 (rs): kb. kl. yo. pm. kl. pm. yo. kl. keb Row 2 (ws) slipping markers as you go: k2. p to last 2 sts. k2 Row 3: kb. k to marker. yo. sm. kl. sm. yo. k to last st. kb Alternate rows 2 & 3 until desired size. BO loosely. Weave in ends. Enjoy!
