Rejoin yarn and beg at kitchener st, pick up and $\mathrm{k}\,64$ sts evenly around the edge created by the k1 of the cable strip. Join to work in rnds, be careful not to twist sts. Divide sts as follows: Needle $1=16$ sts; Needle $2=32$ sts; Needle $3=16$ sts. Mark for beg of rnds with a st marker on first row (this marker will always be at center back heel of sock) .
