CyCLadeS

Cyclades is a short poncho, hence a “ponchette", named after my beloved Greek Islands: Cyclades. The yarn I used in order to knit the prototype was in fact the reason why I gave it this name. Liz, the yarnie that provided me with this yarn has a special bond with the Cyclades Islands. The blue and purple shades of the yarn remind me of the beauty of the setting sun over the Aegean Sea. I bet you can easily imagine yourself wearing this wrap to protect you from the breeze. It is meant to cover your shoulders in softness and keep you warm and comfortable. It can be worn all year round and it is quite a quick and easy knit even for the advanced beginner knitters!
