PATTERN
Work Main Colour (MC) at all times unless it is specifically stated by the charts. With 3.00mm needles and using a 2x2 rib cable cast on method, cast on 140 stitches and join in the round, being careful not to twist the stitches. Place a marker to denote the start of the round. Round 1: Knit 2, purl 2. This forms 2x2 rib. Continue in this way for the rest of the round. Rounds 2-7: Join Contrast Colour (CC) and knit all 6 rounds chart 1. Rounds 8-9: Knit two rounds in MC, carrying the CC up the rounds as you go. Rounds 10-16: Knit all 7 rounds of chart 2. Rounds 17-18: Knit two rounds in MC, carrying the CC up the rounds as you go. Rounds 19-24: Knit all 6 rounds of chart 1 again. Break CC at end. Round 25: Knit 2, purl 2. This forms 2x2 rib. Continue in this way for the rest of the round. Cast off in rib pattern using a stretchy cast off method of your choice, I used Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Cast Off, and bind off the yarn. Block and sew in ends.
