materials 3 skeins of Misti Handpaint Chunky for mock turtleneck 4 skeins of Misti Handpaint Chunky for full turtleneck US 10 16" circular US 11 24" circular size One size fits most gauge 16 sts = 4" in 3x3 rib on US 11 needles pattern notes 3 x 2 Rib - k3, p2 2 x 2 Rib - k2, p2 2 x 1 Rib - k2, p1 1 x1 Rib -k1, p1 pattern instructions With US size 11 circular needle cast on 170 stitches, join in the round, being careful not to twist stitches and PM. Begin 3 x 2 rib, \*k3, p2, repeat from\* every row until piece measures 4 1/2 inches. Decreasing round, for one round only: \*k1, K2tog, p2, repeat from\* (136 stitches remain) Begin 2 x 2 rib, \*k2, p2, repeat from \* every row for 7 1/2" from last decrease round Decreasing round, for one round only: \*k2, P2tog, repeat from \* (102 stitches remain) Begin 2 x 1 rib, \*k2, p1, repeat from \* every row for 1" from last decrease round Decreasing round, for one round only: \*K2tog, p1, repeat from \* (68 stitches remain) Begin 1 x 1 rib, \*k1, p1, repeat from \* for 3 1/2" from last decrease round Change to US size 10 circular needle and continue in 1 x 1 rib for 4 1/2" for mock version or 1o" for turtle neck version Bind off loosely in 1 x 1 rib, weave in ends and enjoy your ponchette!
