Instuctions
Cast on 44 stitches onto 16" circular needles. Careful not totwist stitchesjoin round, plodd marker, Knit first round placing markers every 11 stitches. sl marker,\*K1, YO, Knit until there is 1 stitch before next marker then YO, K1, Slip marker; repeat from \*all the way around. knit 1 round. Every other round: Continue to increase as above until you have made 8 increase rounds. knit. K1, YO, knit to next marker and remove the marker. Knit until there is 1 stitch before the next marker then YO, K1, slip marker; K1, YO, Knit to next marker and remove the marker. Knit until there is 1 stitch before the next marker then YO, K1. From now on: knit 1 round; knit 1 increase round (before and after each marker) until poncho is desired length. Then bind-off loosely. Fringe optional Changing yarns randomly to achieve chevrons also optional.
