
Morning Light Cowl for the Loom by Jennie Renee
A lovely little cowl perfect for those chilly spring mornings. This pattern can be adjusted for variety of round looms including CinDWood, Knifty Knitter, and the All-n-One Loom.

Skill Level
Required stitches: e-wrap, purl, yarn over (yo) and knit two together ( k2tog)
Loom
/2 gauge round hat loom with an even number of pegs. A CinDWood large oval youth hat loom (54 pegs) was used for the sample. A Knifty Knitter or similar variety large gauge round hat loom with an even number of pegs may be used.
Tools
Loom pick. Crochet hook (optional)
Size
Size of the finished cowl is dependent on the loom used. The sample measures 11 inches long by nine inches wide.
Yarn
100-120 yards worsted weight yarn. Lion Brand Amazing in colorway Regatta used in sample. If using a larger gauge looms heavy worsted, aran, or bulky weight yarn is suggested.
Pattern
Note: All knits are e-wrap. E-Wrap cast-on. A crochet cast-on may also be used if desired. Row 1: Purl all. Row 2: Knit all. Row 3: Knit all. Row 4: Yo, k2tog; repeat to the end of the row. Repeat rows 1-4 until cowl measures nine inches or to desired length.
Finishing:
Basic bind off method. Knit the first two pegs, then move the loop from peg two to peg one. Knit peg one again. Move the loop from peg one back to peg two. Repeat until all loops are off the loom, tie off and weave in ends. Block lightly to open the lace.
