January is for Karen

By Lorena Haldeman I have a friend named Karen who lives in Glasgow; I do not get to see or talk to her nearly as much as I would like to. This scarf was my way of sending her a hug across the pond. This pattern is very adaptable to modifications, including adding a 16-row repeat, changing yarn and needle size, or making longer by adding a second skein. Size: One Finished Measurements: 7 inches x 54 inches

Materials:

One skein of Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in the color of your choice (shown in Jay Pond) -or- approximately 220 yards of any Worsted Weight yarn Size US #8 Needles

Pattern Notes:

The stitch count is multiples of 16+6; the scarf could easily be made wider by adding multiples of 16 and made longer by adding extra chart repeats. Please note you would need more yarn than indicated in the materials list should you choose to make your scarf longer and /or wider.
