Row7-[K2tog] six times. (6sts) Row8-P. Cast off. LEGS With Blue cast on 60sts. Row1-4 Starting with a k row st.st for 4 rows. Cast off. Make another 3 pieces the same. SILVER SPIDER WEB With Silver Metallic DK and 2.00 mm needles throughout cast on 8 sts. Cast off. Make another 7 pieces the same. Using exactly the same procedure make 8 pieces each of 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 sts. GOLD SPDER WEB With Gold Metallic DK and 2.00 mm needles throughout cast on 8 sts. Cast off. Make another 5 pieces the same. Using exactly the same procedure make 6 pieces each of 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 sts. TO MAKE UP: SPIDERS 1. For spinderella and Spike join head seam leaving a gap, attach safety eyes, stuff firmly and close gap. 2. Use fang cast off thread to strenghthen fang by oversewing a few times and use cast on thread to sew fangs in place. 3.Sew up Body seam leaving gap, stuff firmly and close gap. 4.Cut pipecleaner to slightly longer than leg length, bend over sharp edge at each end as a safety precaution. Join leg seam around pipecleaner, bend leg into required shape. Sew legs to body being careful to make sure spider is balanced. 5.Use same procedure for babies but attaching eyes to body prior to stufing and if only 4legs made bend legs in half and sew all legs securely together before attaching to body. 6. Make hair as required by sewing a double thread twice leaving ends of slightly more than required length. This makes 4 hairs. Repeat as required then cut hair into stlye. 7.Where glass eyes or fangs are not used embroider in position. WEBS 1. Using 4 large pipecleaners for the silver web and 3 for the gold bind each pipecleaner with metallic thread by winding and then tying. 2.Place the pipe cleaners like wheel spokes and tie together. 3.Starting at centre tie each web piece in place with the cast on and cast off threads making a circle with the 8st pieces and also using those threads to sew through the end of the next web piece. 4.Using the same procedure make the next circle using the 16 st. pieces and so on until you have six rings. 5.For silver web leave all loose ends dangling from behind and for gold web cut all loose threads off.
