MYSISTER KNITS
Wellfleet Cowl This lacy summer accessory was inspired by a seaside holiday to the beautiful Cape Cod seashore. That trip included everything you might want: relaxing on the in the sun, getting sand between our toes, long walks looking for seals in the water, and a trip to the local drivein. I hope that this cowl accompanies you on your summer adventures, giving your shoulders a bit of warmth as the sun sets and the tiki torches are lit.

Finishing
Your project will be softer and more beautiful after a gentle washing by hand in warm water and a mild soap or detergent. Then roll in a towel to remove excess moisture or spin dry in washing machine (for 10 seconds only). Lay flat to dry in well-ventilated area blocking using wires and pins if necessary to open up the lacework and ensure that the welted bands surrounding your eyelet rows have a graceful curve. Seam your cowl up the back from the bottom. Try it on as you reach roughly row 7 of your second section and discontinue seaming when you have a fit that you prefer. Weave ends in on wrong side. Enjoy!
