1854 Ice Skating Scarf

for 18" dolls such as American Girl

This pattern should yield a nice long scarf for your 18" doll. . . However, it's the first time I've tried to write/publish a pattern, so please let me know if you have any questions or find any issues with it! I can be found on Ravelry as user name "JenniL," at my web site, www.HistoricallyDressed.com, or by email at jenniloves2sew@yahoo.com.

Requirements

One skein of DK weight yarn in the main color (I used around a half of a 279 yard skein of Red Heart Designer Sport in color #3921 - Crimson) A very small amount of DK weight yarn in the contrast color (I used Red Heart Designer Sport in color #3101 - Ivory) One pair of size 2 (2.75 mm) needles, or the correct size to obtain the gauge (Note: I'm a very tight knitter, so if you are not, definitely do some swatching to be sure you don't need a different size needle!) · Tapestry needle (for weaving in yarn ends) · Crochet hook (for setting in the fringe)
