Garnish
The theme for this pattern was born a little bit after the pattern itself. It sat around for a while until this winter, when a skein of red yarn and a lot of grey weather inspired its final form. Garnish - something that decorates, adorns, or adds flavor - hopefully what this little bit of lacy brightness will do to a dreary winter. Yarn: Fingering weight for small / medium (sample was knit in Yarntini Merino/Nylon), [heavy fingering or sport weight for medium / large] one skein (100g) for either size. Any sock yarn that gives the correct gauge is appropriate. Needles: US size 1 (2.25mm) needles for size s/m [1 1/2 (2.5mm) needles for size m/l] - or size needed to obtain gauge.
