Knit Neck Cuff With Lacey Ruffle

Materials:
4pl yarn, I used Red Heart in this sample. Any 4pl worsted weight yarn will work. Circular knitting needles size 10 - 28 inches minimum, you can obtain a smaller neck cuff size by using smaller knitting needles. Crochet hook $\boldsymbol{\Theta}$ , optional Two $\frac{3}{4}^{\prime\prime}$ to $1^{\prime\prime}$ button Gauge: $\ 3\ {\frac{1}{2}}$ stitches per inch, 5 rows per inch. Gauge is not all that important other than getting the fit you like around your neck, snug or loose can be done with the placement of buttons. Pattern is $9^{\prime\prime}\times17^{\prime\prime}$ which should fit most.

Body of collar:
Cast on 60 stitches (this will work out to about 18 inches in length) Row 1&3-k Row 2&4- p Row 5- Button hole row. K across until there are 4 stitches left on needle. Bind of next 2 stitches and knit to end. Row 6- p 3, cast on 2, p across to end. Repeat rows 1-6 Repeat rows 1-4 Lacey ruffle: Ro $w\ 1-{\sf k}\ 1,\,\star_{\forall0}\ 2\times^{\prime}\!s,\,{\sf k}\ 1^{\star}\;_{\epsilon}$ across Row 2- p slipping the yo's off the needle as you purl across. Row 3- k in front and back of each stitch Row 4- p 1, \*yo 2 x's, p 1\* across Row 5- k, slipping the yo's off the needle as you knit across Row 6- p in front and back of each stitch Repeat rows 1-3 Cast off all stitches Optional: If you don't like the rolled top edge, with crochet hook sz G, crochet a couple of rows of sc's along top. Weave in loose ends Try fit around neck to decide where you would like the buttons, snug or loose is your choice. Add buttons. You're done!
