This socks is in the size newborn to 3 months. Cast on 28 stitches on 3 mm needles. Use dpn needles, and put 7 stitches on 4 of the needles. Make a ribbing working around with k2 p2 for 17 rounds. Heel flap: Knit the next 14 stitches. Turn around and purl the same 14 stitches. Do these two rounds 5 more times. This will give you a total of 12 rows on the heel flap. Heel turn: k4 k2tog k2 k2tog W&T (lift off next stitch, put the yarn in between stitches before taking the stitch back on the needle and then turning your knitting. In this way you avoid holes.) p4 p2tog W&T k5 k2tog W&T p6 p2tog k7 k2tog Now you have 8 stitches on the needle. Pick up 6 stitches on the heel flap. Knit the next 14 stitches (the top of the foot). Pick up 6 stitches on the other side of the heel flap, knit the next 4 stitches. Now you will have 10 stitches on this needle. Place the next 4 stitches on the next needle with 6 stitches so you get 10 stitches on that needle to. Now you start point is under the heel. Knit to the 2 last stitches on the needle, k2tog. Knit the next 14 stitches. Ssk and knit the rest of the stitches on that needle. Do this increase round to you have 7 stitches on every needle again. Now you knit around the whole sock to you have 21 rounds. The increase round is in this number. Toe decrease( Do this on all 4 needles): k3 k2tog k2 knit k2tog k1 k2tog k1 knit k2tog k2tog knit Cut the yarn and use a needle to pullthe yarn through the 8 stitches before you weave in ends. Now you have to knit the second sock to get the pair finish up.
