Buttonholes band:
Work stripes sequence as for button band, starting to pick up sts at top left front for boys and bottom right front for girls Make one Yo, K2tog buttonhole on row # 5 (WS), at the level of markers Sew buttons along button band, facing buttonholes.
Collar:
With right side facing and starting after border band, with MC, pick up and K18 (20-20-21) sts along right neckedge, K41 (45-43-47) sts from back holder, pick up and K18 (20-20-21) sts on left neck edge, finishing just before the border Work in R until collar measure 2 in (approx 14 ridges). Change to CC and work $1\mathrm{~R~}$ ,then $2\;\mathrm{R}$ with MC, then 1 R with CC binding off on last row, knitwise With CC, collar facing pick up and Knit 18 sts along each side of collar bind off knitwise on next row.
