Instead of cutting yarn when switching between MC and CC and weaving ends in later, it may be easier to twist yarn not being used behind active yarn at beginning of rounds, and carry it up inside the scarf. PAIIERN With MC and CC held together, cast on 138 stitches. Join, place marker and work in a kl, pl rib for 10 rows. First stripe sequence: Drop MC and work next 4 rows with CC only in k1, p1 rib. Drop CC and work 2 rows k1, p1 rib with MC. Drop MC and work 4 rows in k1, p1 rib with CC. Join MC and work 10 rows, k1, pl rib, with both yarns held together. Drop MC and using CC only, begin eyelet rows: Row 1: Knit Row 2: [k4, yo, k2tog] repeat until end of round. Row 3: k5, yo, k2tog \*[k4, yo, k2tog] repeat from \* until last 5 stitches, k4, yo, k1.
