I love stripes, this pattern for the striped up scarf was inspired by a striped scarf I saw online (see below)

Finished Size: 35cm wide and 180cm long after blocking Yarn Used: Col A | Colourmart Heavy DK yarn, Cashmerino Blend in Geranium (Coral Pink marl) - 150g cone Col B | Colourmart Heavy DK yarn, Cashmerino Blend in Beige nl (Natural Ecru Tweed) - 15Og cone Col B | Moda Vera Lace weight, Mohair Blend in Beige (Tan) OHeld together with the other Beige yarn - 3 X 50g balls Col C | Colourmart Heavy DK yarn, Merino-Silk Blend in Navy (Navy Blue) - 15Og cone Needles: 4.5mm Gauge: 6 sts /1 inch

SCARF

Using long tail the Cast on method, CO 72 sts S et u p Ro w s : (2 Rows for set up) SU Row 1 (RS): K3, [P2,K2] until last 1 st remains, K1 SU Row 2: S1, [P2, K2] until last 3 sts remain, p3 Ed ge Rib bing (Beginning &End of Scarf) With Col A (Coral ink Marl), begin the 2 X 2 ribbing. The instructions below are for the beginning & the ending of the scarf. Row 1 (RS): S1 (as if to K), [K2, P2] until last 3 sts remain, K3 Row 2: S1 (as if to P), [P2,K2], until last 3 sts remain, P3 Repeat Row 1 & 2 a further 9 times, ending with row 20 (WS) - Total of 20 rows

Body of Scarf

Col B (Beige) & Col C (Navy) I Use the instructions below to alternate between Col B & Col C in Blocks of 6 rows at a time. Row 21,23,25(RS):K all sts Rows 22,24,26: P allsts Repeat Rows 21-26, 70 times (or to your desired length), each time you finish 6 rows, change the yarn to another colour. Carry your Col B & Col C, along side the edge each time you begin a RS row. See how to do the make stripes with a neat selvag

Finishing

Return to the Edge Ribbing (2 X 2 Rib), and complete 20 rows. Bind off and sew in the tails, wash in mild soap and block. Enjoy!
