Cast on w/ waste yarn - 12 stitches Odd rows work out from body. All Inward rows: k11; k2tog

THE SQUARE (Oz Woozle):
Cast on 8 stitches Join. EVEN (Charted) rows: (k1,O, k1) in single stitch; work chart right to left; work chart left to right repeat 4 times per round. (Note: row 2 of chart contains a single knit stitch, worked only once) ODD (UnCharted) rounds: Knit around PLUS one stitch, moving Beginning/end of round marker (and any other markers) one stitch to the left.
PINWHEEL (Pooh's Woozle):
Cast on 8 Join Double each stitch (Knit each stitch front and back OR (k1, O)x8) k1, yarnover, work chart right to left. repeat 8 times per round.
