Materials

-A few yards of red , and scrap brown, white, orange & black yarn -Set of 4 US size 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles (or size needed for correct gauge). Circular needles and Magic Loop Method can be substituted for DPNs. -Stuffing -Yarnneedle -dried beans, plastic pellets, bb's etc. (optional) -Wooden dowel, skewer, pipe cleaner, plastic straw etc. (optional)

Gauge

The exact gage is unimportant, but it should be tight enough so the stuffing doesn't show through. The examples are knit with Peaches & Creme Cotton Worsted, but a wide variety of yarns can be used. Punky is approximately 6 inches tall & KaBOOM is almost 5 inches to the tip of his lit fuse, but the finished measurements will be affected by choice of yarn and needle size.
