HAT:

This hat is knit in the round. In Color A, Cast on (CO) 112 sts. Place stitch marker and work in K1, P1 ribbing sts for 12 rows. Next knit rnd adding a stitch every 15th sts. Established pattern: Rnd 1-2:\* Color A K2, change to Color B K1 repeat from \* across entire rnd. Rnd3: Color C knit rnd Repeat rnds 1-3 until piece measures 9" and begin crowning

Lrowning:

Rnd 1: In Color B \*K2 Tog \* Rnd 2: Knit Rnd Rnd3: \* K2 Tog\* Rnd 4: Knit Rnd Rnd: 5 \*K2 Tog\* Now cut a long tail and using your tapestry needle weave through the stitches remaining on the needle. Pull tight and knot.

FINISHING:

Weave remaining tails in the inside of the hat and clip excess yarn close to hat. And add Pom Pom. POM-POM: Make pom-pom with Color A,B, C. Wind these strands of yarn all together around a 5" piece of cardboard several times. (The more winds, the fuller the pom-pom). Slide off the cardboard and tie around the middle tightly with strand of yarn. Cut end loops. Attach to hat with tail left at top of hat. Secure tightly. Trim pom-pom ends as needed.
