MC: Main color P: Purl Pm: Place marker Rep: Repeat RS: Right side Sm: Slip marker St(s): Stitch(es) WS: Wrong side
PATTERN NOTE
This wrap will be knit inside out: the knit side is the WS and the purl side is the RS. Leave ends for weaving in on the WS (knit side) of the knitting. Garment will be turned when completed.
CAPELET
With smaller ndl CO 120 sts in MC. Pm and join for working in the round, being careful not to twist. Rnds 1-3: With MC and smaller ndls, \*K1, p1, rep from \* around. Next rnd: Change to larger ndls, knit for 6 rnds. Next rnd (set up rnd): \* k30, pm, rep from \* around. Next rnd (inc): \* k to marker, Sm, M1L, rep from \* around. At the same time, begin stripe pattern. Next rnd: Knit. Rep last two rounds 9 more times, for a total of 160 sts. Knit until piece measures 10% " from CO Edge. Next rnd: \*K1, p1, rep from \* around. Rep 2 more times for 3 rows of rib pattern. Next rnd: BO all sts loosely in rib pattern.
