This Shark Hat is knitted from the bottom up. It decreases until the tail fins stitches are divided up. The Dorsal Fin is knitted separately and sewn on to the hat. Hat modeled by Coraline

Directions
CO 51 sts in the round. Seed stitch for 4 rounds. K2tog, knit the rest. Knit for 6 rounds. Decreases \*K8, K2tog,\* all around. 45sts Knit 3 rounds. \*K7, K2tog,\* all around. 40 sts Knit 2 rounds. \*K6, K2tog,\* all around. 35 sts Knit I round. \*K5, K2tog,\* all around. 30 sts Knit I round. \*K4, K2tog,\* all around. 25 sts Knit I round. \*K3, K2tog,\* all around. 20 sts Knit l round. \*K4, K2tog\* to the last 2 sts., K2 17sts K2, K2tog, Knit to the end. 16 sts Set up for the tail finsYou should have 16 stitches in all. K8, place the next 8 stitches onto scrap yarn. K1, SSK, K2tog, K2, SSK, K2tog, K1 SSK, K2tog, SSK, K2tog Cut yarn and pullit through remaining 4 stitches. Weave in ends. Repeat for the second fin.
