Jananger Rosa

Yarn: Sockweight about 200 yards/183meters for the scarf and 60 yards/55 meters for the rose Button (If you want a crocheted centre instead of the button you will need a few yards of yellow sockyarn) Needle for sewing in the ends and sewing on the button. scissors US 2,5/3,5 mm circular needle ( 16 inch/40 cm long) $\mathsf{J S}\,4/3\,\mathsf{m m}$ dpns (you can use circular needle instead) $K=\mathsf{k n i t}$ $P=\mathsf{p u r l}$ K2tog $=$ knit two together $\mathsf{M}\mathsf{1}=\mathsf{m a k e}\,\mathsf{1}$ stitch by knitting in the front and back of 1 stitch. \* $\ast_{=}$ repeat from \* to \* the rest of the row.
Scarf is done in garter stitchand the rose is done in stockinette. Scarf and rose is knitted separately and then sewn together.
First leaf (with Us 2,5/3 mm needle) Cast on 3 stitches K2rows K1, m1, k the rest of the stitches on the needle Repeat these 4 rows until you have 22 stitches on the needle. 1. K all stitches 2. K all stitches 3. K1, m1, k rest of the stitches on the needles 4. K all stitches K to last stitch, turn work and k back K to last 2 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 3 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 4 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 5 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 6 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 7 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 8 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 9 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K to last 10 stitches, turn your work, slip 1 and k back K 2 rows (all stitches will be knit on this row) K2tog the whole row (11 stitches) K1 row Cut yarn, and set work aside while working second leaf
Second leaf (with Us 2,5/3 mm needle)
Cast on 3 stitches K 2 rows K1, m1, k the rest of the stitches on the needle Repeat these 4 rows until you have 34 stitches on the needle. 1. K all stitches 2. K all stitches 3. K1, m1, k rest of the stitches on the needles 4. K all stitches K 10 rows K2tog on the whole row (17 stitches) K1 row K first 6 stitches, place first leaf in front of second leaf and k 1 stitch from front needle together with 1 stitch from the back needle (17 stitches on needle when done)

K 28 rows K1, $^{*}{\sf k1}$ ,m1, $k1^{*}$ (25 stitches on needle) K all rows for 12,5 inches/ $32\,\mathsf{c m}$ , end with a wrong side row, the right side is where the small leaf is on top of the big leaf (It is the 25 stitch part after the small 17 stitch garter section that should measure 12,5 inches/ $^{132}\,\mathsf{c m}$ 一: K1, \* k2tog, $k1^{*}$ (17 stitches on the needle) K all stitches K 14 rows K 6, cast off 5, k 6 K6, cast on 5, k 6 K all stitches K all stitches K2tog, kto last 2 stitches, k2tog (15 stitches on needle) K all stitches K2tog, kto last 2 stitches, k2tog (13 stitches on needle) K all stitches K2tog, k to last 2 stitches, k2tog (11 stitches on needle) K all stitches Cast off all stitches. \*k1, m1\* k1 (199 stitches on needle) Pall K all Pall Kall Pall Kall Pall Cast off all stitches Optional crocheted centre instead of button: With a size $\mathsf{G}/4\,\mathsf{m m}$ hook and yarn held double, ch 2, 7sc in second ch from the hook, join with a sl st in first sc. Crochet 2 sc in every sc (14 sc) join in first Sc with a sl st.

Using a long strand of yarn, sew through the cast on edge of the rose and pullthe yarn so it scrunches a bit. Sew rose on to the scarf around the buttonhole in a spiral to create "layers". Fasten all ends and sew button/crocheted circle in centre of the small garter stitch section just over the joining of the leafs on the scarf.
