The blanket is constructed of 3 wide panels in one color, 2 narrow panels and borders in a contrasting color. All lace stitches are from the Harmony Guide to Knitting.
Materials:
Caron Simply Soft 9 - Off White 4 - Blackberry Size 9 needles. You want a yarn that will show the lace nicely. Stitch Markers.

Gauge: Gauge is not important. Use the needles that give you the stitch definition you want. Note: This pattern sounds far more complicated than it is. Except for the center lace pattern these stitches are short repeats which makes it easy to keep track so after a couple of repeats you won't need to watch the pattern to know what to do. It helps to use stitch markers between the patterns to help stay on track. Ilike to slip the first stitch of every row. It makes sewing the panels together much easier. Main Panel is composed of 4 lace patterns worked across: Little Shell, Rick Rack, 2x 2cable, Rick Rack, Fountain Lace, Rick Rack, 2x2 Cable, Rick Rack, Little Shell plus 2 stitches to start and finish the panel worked in stocking stitch.
