Tekka Maki and California Roll
Weave in ends. Starting at pink end (the sushi filling-"tuna" on the Tekka Maki and “crab" on the California Roll), roll strip (not too tightly). The Tekka Maki ends with “"nori'" (seaweed) and the California Roll ends with "rice." Whipstitch end to outside of roll and secure.
Tamago Niqiri
Fold white strip into thirds crosswise. Whipstitch end to outside of piece and secure. This is the "rice" base. Lay the yellow “egg" strip on top and center it. Wrap the green “nori"' strip around both, like a belt. Sew ends of strip together on underside and secure. Arrange sushi attractively with wasabi and pickled ginger garnish.
