This is a modification of Itty Bitty Dolly Cardi by Viaphels Bells http://aoadocaca.blogspot.co.uk/ She has kindly given her permission to publish these instructions. Many thanks for that and for theoriginal pattern
You need:
light fingering yarn pair of11/2 mm needles 4 stitch markers darning needle
Abneviations:
K, k = knit P, p = purl Kfb = knit into front and back of stitch
Jnsthuctions:
Row 4: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2. Row 5: (Knit to one stitch before marker, kfb, slip marker, kfb) repeat 3 times, k3. 31 sts. Row 6: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2. Row 7: As row 5, after last marker k4. 39 sts. Row 8: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2. Row 9: As row 5, after last marker k5. 48 sts. Row 10: K2, p to last 2 sts, k2.
Sleeves and lower body:
Knit 18 sts (to second marker), turn and p 10 sts for left sleeve (to one st before marker). Turn, k10. Turn, k10. Turn and bind off. Break yarn, leave a tail about 10 cm (4 inch) for sewing. Rejoin yarn to body and knit across rermaining stitches to last marker (22 sts).Turn and p 10 stitches for right sleeve, work as for left sleeve. Rejoin yarn to body and knit across remaining 7 stitches. Turn, k2, p23, k2. (Turn, k27), repeat 1 time.Bind off. Sew sleeve seams. I like to use yarn ends for sewing and found it easier to start from the cuff upwards and sew right side facing in these tiny sleeves. Weave in all ends. Dress your doll and have fun @
