Knitted Wrist Warmers

Materials: 1-2 x 50g Skeins of Bulky yarn. ( don't forget that it will be worn next to your skin, so something soft) 1 pair of 6.5mm knitting needles 1 x Darning needle, for sewing in ends ( the pictured mitts took one 5ogms ball of Entwine wool/alpaca and are a total of 2ocm in length) Cast on 28 stitches join for knitting in the round Row 1: Knit 1, Purl 1, single rib pattern. Repeat until you have 5 rows of single rib. (Or desired cuff length) Row 11: Knit , We are now working in stocking stitch. Repeat working the stocking stitch pattern until 14cm ( or desired length from cuff to thumb joint) from the cast-on edge. Thumb hole: K2 sts, cast off 4 sts, knit to end of round (24 sts) Next row: knit all sts, cast on 4sts over the previous cast off sts. ( 28 sts) Next row: k2tog, k2,k2tog, knit to end. (26sts) Continue knitting every round until 4 cm ( or desired finger length) Cast off Repeat for second mitt
