TO MAKE UP
Stuffing as you go join leg seams to markers leaving base of foot open Join seam from head to center back leaving an inch or so open. Complete stuffing body then close seam. Add any extra filling to feet to fill them out then following the diagram below oversew base of foot . The shaping should ease the seam to the inside leg position on each foot. This will make them point slightly forwards as in picture. Join arm seam to underarm starting at fingers and keeping colours matching, filling as you go. sew cast off edge to second row of shoulder shapings, and continue fixing open edge of arm to body, add extra stuffing to puff out the shoulder shapings Take a length of white yarn and gather the stitches around the middle of the 3 neck rows. Pull quite tight to define neck and wrap yarn around a couple of times to secure. Sew in ends. Starting at cast off edge join skirt back seam leaving a couple of rows open. Ease skirt over legs so chest panel is at center front. Wiggle it around until it sits with cast on edge about 2 rows down from neck gathers in line with the puffy shoulders. Finish joining back seam and secure waistband and chest panel in place. Using black yarn embroider 3 small dots on each sleeve and even dots down front of chest panel and skirt as in picture to signify the buttons (you could also use black seed beads if youwish) For eyes work a couple of chain stitches in black on top of each other around 10 rows above head increases and 4sts apart. For mouth work a small "v" in very light blue about 4 rows beloweyes For hair I used the rooted method by cutting LOTS of black and royal blue strands of yarn and looping them thru the knitting. There are many different methods depending on the hairstyle you would like, but I would recommend watching the 5 part video by ashesonfire on you tube .. part one can be found at http://youtu.be/IW89xhjdkqg. Experiment to find what will work best for the character you wish to make. In the picture I wrapped black yarn around the neck and added a tiny silver bead to look like the bell choker Walter Girl B wears
