The ,wild 13" SIM/L
While knitting the ruffle it crossed my mind that it would be quite pretty to increase by 13 stitches 'till finishing· There are then so many stitches that it gets tight upon the needle· Thereby the knitting gets quite wild while knitting· But that only affects the last 3 rounds, before that it's just goes on relaxed round for round with increasing sized needles.
Material:
200g - 300g ,Zauberwolle" (or Zauberball strength 6 or gradient) Needles 3,0/3,5/4,0 and 4,5 (U5 2/4/6 and 7)
Instructions:
Cast on 140/175/190 (S/M/L) stitches with needles size 3 (US 2) and knit a ribbed pattern (3 k, 2 p) in rounds· Change to needles size 3,5 (US 4) after 5cm· After 10cm in total increase 1 st· in the k of the ribbend pattern· = knit 2 stitches, then make one and knit another k, go on in pattern· After the increasing round knit along in the new ribbed pattern (4k, 2p) After 25cm in total change to needles size 4,0 (US 6) and after 40cm to size 4,5 (US 7). ① Astrid Kramer, ascwins strickkunst, Minden 2012 ascwins strickkunst Astrid Krimer \* Hufschmiede 15 \* 32423 Minden \* 0571/40410093 Start with the ruffle at 45cm total length (or any other wished length) as follows: 1. Round: \*k2 ，yo, k2, p2, repeat at \* 2. Round and all other even numbers: knit all stitches in pattern 3. Round: \*k2, yo, kl, yo, 2k, p2, repeat at \* 5. Round: \*k2, yo, k3, yo, k2, p2, repeat at \* 7. Round: \*k2, yo, k5, yo, 2k, p2, repeat at \* 9. Round: \*k2, yo, k7, yo, 2k, p2, repeat at \* 77. Round: \*k2, yo, k9, yo, 2k, p2, repeat at \* 73. Round: \*k2, yo, k1l, yo, 2ks, p2, repeat at \* After the 14th round cast off in knit stitch.
