Body:
worked in theround Using white yarn cast on 16sts evenly over 3 DPN's, join into the round taking care not to twist. Thread yarn onto darning needle and thread through remaining stitches, pull tight to close hand. Thread a pipe cleaner into the arms if you wish to make the arms poseable.

Apron

Goggles
worked flat Lens one: Using grey yarn, cast on 22sts \*Rows 1-6: \*k1, p1\* repeat from \*to\* to end Cast off, to make up, bring cast on and off edges together and sew, to form a rectangle.\* bring side edges together to form a circle.
Lens two
Using grey yarn, cast on 20sts Work as lens one from \* to \* To make up: form a circle leaving a small gap. Leaving a small gap avoids having a double thickness of fabric where the lens meet. Sew goggles to the face. See diagram at back of pattern.
Face
Cut mouth, tongue and teeth from felt (template at back of pattern), use fabric glue to attach to the mouth using image as a guide. Cut the eyes from felt, place a small amount of stuffing into the goggles and glue in place. When glue is dry, stick the eyes onto the stuffing.
Hair
Cut eight strands of yarn approx 10cm long. Insert crochet hook into head, underneath a stitch. Fold yarn in half, use hook to pull strand through the head. Pull the two ends of yarn and pull through the loop, pull tight to close and trim to desired length. Making up:
Sew legs to body, next sew lace around the tops of the legs. Sew arms to the body, level with the mouth Sew skirt to body just above the pants, next sew on bib, apron and small bow using image as a guide. Dress straps: make two Using black yarn, cast on 3sts \*knit 1 row, slide these 3sts to other end of needle, do not turn work\*. Rep from \* to \*, pull yarn tight across the back of icord each time you start a new row. Work cord until it measures 15cm, cast off. Sew straps onto bib of dress using image as a guide and cross the straps at the back. You may wish to sew the strap in place at the top of the arm to hold in place.
Goggles strap:
Using black yarn, cast on 5sts \*knit 1 row, slide these 5sts to other end of needle, do not turn work\*. Rep from \* to \*, pull yarn tight across the back of icord each time you start a new row. Work cord until it measures 18cm, (or length required) cast off. Sew straps to sides of the goggles.
Safety First:
Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small pieces being a possible choking hazard.
