BOTTOM OF BUN
Using beige yarn, CO 9 sts. Join to knit in the round, being careful not to twist. Mark beginning of round. Round 1: Knit all sts. Round 2: Kfb in all sts. 18 sts. Round 3: Knit all sts. CHEESE
Using yellow yarn, CO 18 sts. Knit fat (back and forth) in garter stitch (knit all rows) until the cheese is square. BO all sts.
TOMATO SLICE (make 2--they'l1 be stitched together afterward)
Using red yarn, CO 9 sts. Join to knit in round, being careful not to twist. Round 1: Knit all sts. Round 2: Kfb in all sts. 18 sts. Round 3: Knit all sts. Round 4: Kfb in all sts. 36 sts. Rounds 5-7: Knit all sts. Round 8: \*K2, kfb.\* Rep from \* to \* until end of round. 48 sts. Round 9: BO all sts. Close the hole made during your cast on. Using yarn needle, thread CO tail through all CO sts and draw together tightly to close hole. When you have made two tomato slices, whipstitch them together so the Rs (smooth stockinette side) is facing out. Weave in ends.
