Round 5 - set up traveling double moss stitch: (K2, P2) to end, round ends on P1, but the (K2, P2) pattern continues offset, generating a spiraling double moss stitch pattern going up the cap. Continue in pattern until cap reaches desired length before decreasing. For the beanie pictured, this is about 10 cm. For something more effective as a toque, continue until cap is about 15 cm long. Begin decrease rounds at first K2 once length is achieved, regardless of where it falls with respect to the beginning of the round, this is now the new beginning of the round (place marker if desired). Finishing
Sew wings on either side of cap. Attach tentacles to front center of cap so that only 1 inch hangs below brim. Sew on button eyes, weave in ends, and voila!
