Honey, you should see me in an egg cozy!

Yarn
I used KnitPicks Stroll Sport, in white and passionfruit (which appears to be discontinued, but they have eggplant, which would work). You can use pretty much any yarn you want.
Needles
I used US sz 4 dpns. Use whatever works for your yarn. It's worked in the round, so I recommend dpns or a circular long enough to comfortably magic-loop.
Notions
■Darning needle 30 beads
Abbreviations
■CO: cast on, any method you like ■St: stitches ■R: round ■P: purl ■K: knit ■Kfb: knit into the front and back of the next stitch. ■K2tog: Knit two together (right-leaning dec) ■DPN: double-pointed needles ■RS: right side ■Inc1: increase one. I use this method, you can use whatever method you like.
Preparation
If you like to pre-thread your beads, thread 30 beads onto the purple yarn. You can also just fit the beads on as you go (aka, the dental floss method). suzynjgonzalez.com
Poof
With white, CO 30 st, join in the round R1:K R2: P R3:K R4:P R5: Join purple yarn, [K1 purple, K1 white] to end R6: Start Latvian braid. Basically, [P1 purple, P1 white] to end, twisting your yarn on the RS. R7: End Latvian braid. Repeat R6, twisting the other way. R8: K purple, sliding a bead onto each st R9: [K1, Kfb] to end (45 st) R10-17: K R18: [K2, K2tog] to last 5 st, K1, [K2 tog] twice (33 st) R19: K R20: [K1, K2tog] to end (22 st) R21: K R22: [K2tog] to end (11 st) R23: [K2tog] to last st, K1 (6 st) Cut yarn, leaving about 8" tail. Thread tail through remaining st and cinch.
White I-cord trim
Make two lengths of white i-cord (3 st), approx 8 %" long. Form an X on top of the poof, poke the ends of each length through the beaded round, and secure ends to the inside. Place cozy over an egg, and twist the first i-cord so that it snugs up to the egg and forms an extra loop on top. Using a spare length of white yarn, sew through and around the twist to secure. Now twist the top loop a little bit more to form a figure 8, sew to secure. Repeat with other i-cord length. The two figure 8s should form a cloverleaf. Secure ends of white yarn to center of purple poof, leave tails hanging inside.
Bobble
With purple, C0 4 st, join in the round. R1:K R2: [Inc1, K1] to end (8 st) R3-5:K R6: [K2tog] to end (4 st) Cut yarn, leaving about 8" tail. Thread tail through remaining st . Stuff with odds and ends of yarn, then cinch. Tie CO and BO tails in a firm knot, then thread these around the cloverleaf and through center of poof. Knot purple tails to white tails, then trim.
Enjoy!
