WAVY NAVY SCARF
BY LUCY LIEBENSTEIN A great scarf for the beginning cable knitter! Features two columns of spiraling cables and an American Moss stitch border, which can be substituted according to taste. Measures 7"’ wide; length varies according to number of pattern repeats.
Materials:
Size US7 (4.5mm) needles Cable needle Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Soft Navy or other worsted-weight yarn
Stitch Reference:
C4B - Slip next 2 stitches onto cable needle. Hold cable needle in back of work. K2 stitches from left needle, then K2 from cable needle. C4F - Slip next 2 stitches onto cable needle. Hold cable needle in front of work. K2 stitches from left needle, then K2 from cable needle. C2B - Slip next stitch onto cable needle. Hold cable needle in back of work. K1 stitch from left needle, then K1 from cable needle. T3B - Slip next stitch onto cable needle. Hold cable needle in back of work. K2 stitches from left needle, then P1 from cable needle. T3F - Slip next 2 stitches onto cable needle. Hold cable needle in front of work. P1 stitch from left needle, then K2 from cable needle. Cast on 38 stitches Knit 8 rows in American Moss stitch: 1.
