TARDIS wallet
Vasilisa Solntseva

It is my first pattern in English so I will really appreciate if you contact me when you find mistakes. It does not matter where you find it: in the pattern, in the Grammar, in spelling or in vocabulary.
Supplies:
For knitting:
- about 50 g yarn ALPINA "Rene"(50 g- 105 m, 100% cotton) in tardis blue - the same yarn in white: 4 sections 65-70 cm length (don't stretch the yarn during measurement) + 1 section about 60 cm length - needle 2,5 mm; for lining: - 2 zippers 12 cm (it is possible to cut a zipper with larger length), - fabric for lining (l used 100% cotton as it is easy to sew). Actually you can use just one zipper without any lining. It is much-much easier. Or you can design you own "inside world" of your wallet. TARDIS Abbreviations: k- knit, p- purl. LINING
My sew-skill is about pre-intermediate and my Sew-English is less than Beginner. Carve: - wallet: two rectangular 8cmx12cm, - coins pocket: four rectangular 7cmx12cm. Coins pocket: Put together two small rectangular for the coins pocket and zipper following way: - textile face up, - textile face down. Check that outer rims are matched.

Sew at about 7 mm from the bounder. Turn, put textile rectangulars together and sew in 1 mm from the place where textile and zipper connect. I advice to do it otherwise when you use the wallet the textile will definitely come to zipper.
Zipper | |
Two textiles | 个 Sewhere |
Sew the second part of the zipper the same way. You should check that short boundaries are matched too. There is less possibility for mistakes if the zipper is closed when you sew this part. Put the pocket the way it will be situated in the wallet and baste short rims in 3-5 mm from the boundary. Check that it will be possible to open zipper after that.
Wallet lining:
Sew the second zipper between outer (knitted) part and lining similarly the pocket. Instead of one of the textile use the knitted Tardis. The knitted boundary is placed closer to stitch. Stitch all short edges together: and pocket, and wallet (it will be 6 layers of textile). Check that you will be able to open both zippers after the stitching. (Just open them a little.) It is possible you have to use a needle and your hands near zipper. Turn the wallet and stitch neatly short rims of knitted part of Tardis. Congratulations! You've made your TARDIS-wallet!
