Instructions

Mitt: -Cast-on 30 stitches, placing 10 stitches on three of the four double-pointed needles, using the fourth to knit. -Knit one row. -\*Knit two, purl one\* repeat from \* to \* until mitt measures 1.5 inches from cast-on edge. -Knit all stitches until mitt measures 3.5 inches from cast-on edge. -On next round knit 5 stitches from left needle using waste yarn. Once knit place 5 stitches kni1 with waste yarn back onto the left needle and continue knitting with working yarn. -Continue the knit stitch until the mitt measures 4.5 inches from cast-on edge. -\*Knit two, purl one\* repeat from \* to \* until mitt measures 6 inches from cast-on edge. -Loosely cast-off all stitches and weave in ends. Thumb: -Pick up stitches from both sides of waste yarn and place on three DPNs, being sure not to leave any gaps as they will become holes. g working yarn knit until thumb is of desired length, loosely cast-off.
