Yarn: The Knitting Goddess 4ply High Twist Sock Yarn 80% merino, 20% nylon Needles: 2.5mm 80cm circular needles or DPNs or size needed to get gauge. You will need a tapestry needle and a cable needle if you don't want to use the 'cable without a needle' technique. Gauge: 36 sts/50 rows = 4" in st st Sizes: Foot circumference: Small - Small- Foot circumference 7.5 inches (Medium - 8.5 inches, Large - 9.5 inches) Abbreviations K: Knit K2tog: Knit two stitches together as one stitch Kwise: Knitwise, as if to knit N: Needle P: Purl Pwise: Purlwise, as if to purl P2tog: Purl two stitches together as one stitch RS: Right side of work Sl: Slip the next stitch from left to right purl-wise. Ssk: Slip one stitch as if to knit, slip the next stitch as if to knit, insert left needle into front of these two stitches and knit them together. Continue to repeat round 16 until the sock measures 2.5 inches less than the desired length. Toe Round 1: Knit Round 2: K1, ssk, knit until 3sts before end of instep, k2tog, k2, ssk, knit until 3 sts remain, k2tog, k1. Repeat these 2 rounds until there are 20(24,24) sts.
