
The Movie Reel Scarf

Size: 6" by 70" Needles: Size 9 straight needles, Size I crochet hook Yarn: Caron Simply Soft, teal (l skein) Caron Simply Soft, brown (l skein)Bernat Softee, lime green (l skein) -Alternatively, any 3 colors of a worsted weight yarn will do..I'd say 150 yds of each to make sure you have enough. Gauge: 18 sts and 14 rows per 4" in garter stitch on Size 9 needles. 12 sts and 12 rows per 4" in hdc on Size I hook. With Teal, CO 18. Slipping the first stitch of every row, knit every row for 28 rows. Attach lime green (Don't cut the yarn, carry up the side), and knit 28 rows, slipping first stitch. Switch back and forth between the green and teal, until 16 squares have been done. Do one more square of teal, knitting 27 sts and binding off knitways. Turn the scarf sideways, and attach the brown yarn to the edge. Using the crochet hook, hdc in each slipped stitch in the chain along the side of scarf. At the end of the side, ch 2, turn work. Row 2: Hdc in each st, ch 2, turn. Rep row 2 two more times and fasten off. Repeat this on the other side. Thank you for downloading this Calamity Designs pattern!
