REQUIRED SKILLS Some experience knitting socks, short rows, cabling without a cable needle

The lace and cable waves are reminiscent of the fountain and meandering walkways at the Mirabella Gardens in Salzburg, Austria, that I had the great opportunity to visit many times while living in Europe. The comfortable fit and stretchiness of the lace and delicate cables make this the perfect socks for lounging around in. \* This revised pattern uses the standard short-row shaping method for the heel. Use whatever method you're comfortable with.

Work 8 rounds total. Cast off loosely.Mirabella used Elizabeth Zimmerman's sewn-in cast-off, a stretchy, knit-one-purl-one technique. Expand your knitting repertoire and try it!
FINISHING
Weave in ends using tapestry needle.
