Stem:
Cast on 12 stitches in Spring Green. Join in the round and knit until tube measures approximately 7 inches. Bind off all stitches and cut yarn.
Finishing:
Sew the cast on edge of each petal to the bind off edge of the stem, forming a circle with the knit side if each petal facing up. Sew your button on in the center of the circle formed by petals. Sew in all loose ends. Slide your chopstick down the stem so it supports the flower. Take your flower out into the world and plant it. Anywhere is fine, your garden, the park, the side of the road... or if you don't want to let go, try a flowerpot by the window. Enjoy
