Materials :
1 skein of Malabrigo Rasta or any other Super Bulky yarn 1 size US 15 40" circular needles (or what you need to get magic loop/ 2 circs done) Gauge : 9.5 - 10 sts / 4 in Sizes : Small - Kindle Touch, Medium - Kindle, Large - iPad
PATTERN :
Body:
Using Judy's Magic Cast-on, cast-on 30 (36, 46) sts. Knit in the round for 20 (22, 28) rows.
Flap:
Row 21 : Bind-off 15 (18, 23) sts and Knit to the end of the row. Pick up and knit the first stitch from the bind-off (16, 17, 24) sts on the needles) Row 22 : Slip 1, purl to end Row 23 : Slip 1, ssk , knit to the last 3sts, k2tog, k1 Repeat Rows 22 & 23 until only 4(5, 4) stitches remain
Braid:
Cut a 16"(18, 24) tail and draw the end through the 4(5, 4) sts, pull tight. Cut another length of yarn 32"(36, 48) draw this piece through the same ends as above. Now you have 3 strands to braid. Tie a knot at the end of the braid. YOU ARE DONE!
Glossary k2tog - Knit the next 2 stitches together ssk - Slip as if to knit twice and move those stitches back to the left needles and knit them together
