Malabrigo Silkpaca : 1 skein (385 m, 420 yards) Needles 4,5, US7 Hook 4,5 to bind off stitches 160 cm X 48cm One knits this shawl in one piece, top down. So, it requires knitting only few stitches at the beginning. Hint for the edge stitch : Slip the first stitch of each row (odd and even) purl-wise, with the yarn in front and knit the last stitch of each row (odd and even). Only odd rows are charted. Knit or purl stitches of even rows as per table below.
