Humbugs and Hearts Blythe Dress By Mrs Weasel
This tube dress is knitted sideways in one piece using short row shaping to create the skirt ruffle. The heart is embroidered in daisy stitches and then the back seam is sewn up.
Notions
2.75mm needles Scraps of 3 ply yarn in black, white and pink Tapestry needle Recipe In black, cast on 25 stitches Stripe: Row 1: (ws): k5, p1, k12, pl, k6. Turn, p6, turn, k6, turn Row 2: (rs) P6, k1, p12, k1, p5

Change to white and work both rows of the stripe. Repeat until you have worked 7 white stripes (or the dress is wide enough to fit round the doll). End with a black stripe. Cast off in black. Embroider a heart using two threads of contrasting colour and daisy chain stitch as shown below.
