$150\mathsf{m}$ eachoftwocoloursof worstedorAranweight wool (300m total) - Yarn used was Misti Alpaca Tonos Worsted( $50\%$ Merino, $50\%$ Alpaca), 200m per skein, one skein of each colour. $5.0\mathrm{mm}\,60\mathrm{cm}$ circular needle Darning needle One Stitch Marker Tension: 19 stitches and 28 rows in 10cm (4") square in Stocking stitch With the darker colour, cast on 110 stitches onto 5.0mm circular needle. Place marker (this marks the beginning of the round) and join into the round being careful not to twist your stitches. Knit 1 row. Purl 1 row. Repeat these two rows one time more. Knit 1 row. Change to lighter colour. Knit 4 rows. On the fifth row knit to last two stitches, K2TOG. Change to darker colour. Knit 4 rows. On the fifth row knit to last two stitches, K2TOG.
Continue in this way changing colours every 5 rows until there are only 90 stitches left on the needle. (21 stripes completed including first garter stitch stripe.) Change to lighter colour work one more stripe (5 rows) in stocking stitch without decreasing. Change to darker colour. Knit 1 row, (purl 1 row, knit 1 row) twice, cast off.
