Pinch: A Versatile, One-Skein Roll Brim Hat Knitting Pattern with Adaptive 'Pinched' Texture

Pinch

By Kim

Meet Pinch, a cute hat that, in spite of it's unique texture, is constructed almost exactly like your average roll brim hat. The only trick (and an impressive looking trick it is) is the signature "pinched" look of the fabric. Once you've got the knack of that down, the rest of this pattern willcruise on by. The best part? It only uses one skein of the yarn called for in the pattern. Please see this link on "How to Pinch."

The other best part (what, I can totally have two best parts!)? Pinch is endlessly adaptable thanks to it's basic roll brim set up. The pinches are random (though Ive written them down for you here) and all you need is a working knowledge of gauge and bam: this hat in any yarn.I foresee Pinches in many yarn and pinch variations coming to a wardrobe near me.
