· 1 skein of very, very pretty Hazel Knits Artisan Sock · Size 1.5 US (2.5mm) needles · Cable needle Optional: stitch markers

Sizes: 68- and 72-st sizes
Pattern Notes:
· Bobble instructions: k front, back, front of same stitch, turn work, p3, turn work, sll, k2tog,psso. Clue #1 is written for first sock only. For you TAAT sock-knitters, instructions for starting sock #2 with be provided with Clue #2. · Both sizes are worked the same unless otherwise stated.
Clue #1
Pattern Instructions
Cast on 68 (72) stitches. Work “Rib Cuff', then move on to “Leg, Part 1". Rib Cuff: Work in ribbing as follows for 12 rows. Ribbing: (p1, k2, p1)\*, repeat \* to end Set-up for working Leg, Clue 1: Divide stitches such that you have 28 stitches evenly divided across needles 1 and 2, and the remaining stitches divided evenly across needles 3 and 4.
Sock #1
Leg, Clue 1: For both sizes, work first 28 stitches of Clue 1 Chart. The 4 stitches highlighted in green and bracketed by bold lines (stitch numbers 29-32) are repeated across the remaining 40(44) stitches of the row. This means you will work the 4-stitch repeat 10(11) times per round for the 68-st (72-st) sizes. Once all rows of Clue 1 are complete, stop and await clue #2.
