Size: Women's Medium (shoe size 7-9) Materials: $50\mathrm{g}$ of sock yarn (fingering weight), approximately 200-220 yds. Yarn used: Gypsy Girl Creations Fingering Weight, colorway: Winter Solstice 2 US size 1, 16 inch circular needles Stitch marker tapestry needle measuring tape Gauge: 8sts and 12rows per inch in stockinette stitch.
Terms:
k1 tbl: Knit one through the back loop. K2tog: knit two stitches together ssk: slip first stitch as ifto knit, slip second stitch as ifto purl. Place both stitch back on the lft needle and knit both through the back loop. This pattern is written to be knit on 2 circular needles, however is easily adaptable to knitting on double pointed needles by seperating stitches evenly over 4 double points.

Cast on 64 stitches using the stretchy cast on of your choice. Separate evenly onto 2 circular needles (needle 1 and needle 2) and join to knit in the round. Knit 5 rows of twisted rib.
Twisted Rib:
$^{*1}\mathrm{kl}$ tbl, $\mathrm{p}1^{*}$ repeat to the end of theround. Repeateveryrow.
Heel:
At the end of row 5 begin the heel flap. The heel flap will be made from by working the stitches on needle 1 back and forth.
Eye of Partridge:
Row 1: \*Slip 1, $\mathrm{K}1^{*}$ , repeat until the end of the row. Row 2: Slip 1, purl remaining stitches. Row 3: Slip 1, \*slip one as if to knit, $\mathrm{k}1^{*}$ , repeat until one stitch remains, knit 1. Row 4: Slip 1, purl remaining stitches. Work these 4 rows until heel flap measures 2.5 inches, ending after a purl row.
Turn Heel:
Row 1: slip 1, Knit 18, ssk, turn Row 2: slip 1, purl 6, p2tog, turn Row 3: slip 1, knit 6 ssk, turn Repeat rows 2 and 3 until all the heel stitches have been used up. End having finished a knit row.

Gusset
Pick up stitches on the right side of the heel flap, knit across held instep stitches, pick up stitches on the left side of the heel flap. Rearrange stitches so that the instep stitches are on needile 2 and the heel and gusset stitches are on needle 1. Row 1: Knit to within 3 stitches of the end of needle 1, k2tog, k1. Knit across the 32 instep stitches. On needle 1, kl, ssk, knit 15, pm. This marker will mark the end of the round. Row 2: Knit all stitches. Repeat these two rows until 32 stitches remain on needle 1.
Foot:
Continue knitting allstitches on every round until sock measures within 2 inches of the total length that you want your sock to be.
Toe:
Row 1: Knit to within 3 stitches of the end of needle 1, k2tog, k1. On needle two, k1, ssk, to within 3 stitches of the end of needle 2, k2tog, k1. Needle 1: kl, ssk, knit to the end of row 1. Row 2: Knit all stitches. Repeat these two rows until 24 stitches remain (12 stitches on each needle). Cut yarn and graftstitches together.
