Body of this garment is worked sideways. For the “Classic" top you will make a rectangle them join together to form a tube. Corset Body
With MC, ch 54 (54, 54, 54, 54,54, 54, 54, 54) Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as first dc) and in ea ch across, turn--52 (52,52,52,52,52,52,52,52) sts. Note: Place SM at beg of row 1 to mark 1st row. Row 2: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc), dc in next st and in ea st across. End with dc in ch 3 made at beg of prev row, turn --52 (52, 52, 52, 52, 52, 52, 52, 52) sts. Rows: 3 -48 (53, 58, 63, 68,70,78, 83, 92): Rep row 2 --52 (52, 52, 52, 52, 52, 52, 52, 52) sts.
Adding Mock Bones
With CC and RS facing up, join yarn around stems of the 1st dc of indicated row (per your size), hdc around the stems of the next dc to the left and in ea dc across same row. (Crocheting right-to-left down stems of same row). Bind off at the end of each row. \*Weave in loose ends once you've completed ALL Bones\*.

Joining Corset
With MC and RS facing, join yarn to the corner of row 1. Sl st Row 1 to Row 48 (53, 58, 63,68, 70 78, 83 or 92). You've just created your "Center Seam' Bind off. Sew in loose ends.

Top & Bottom
Edge Trim
With CC, join yarn to back at center seam, hdc around top edge of Corset. Rep on bottom edge of Corset. Bind off. Sew in loose ends.
Adding Back Loops for r Lacing
Back loops will be added with the same method used for the Mock Bones. Add loops approx 6" (15.24cm) to the left and right of center seam downback. With CC and back side facing up, join yarn around stems of the 7th dc down the row that is Approx 6" (15.24cm) to the left of center seam. (See photo Below).

\*Ch 3, sk next two dc, sc around stems of next dc. Rep from \* to \* seven times--(8) ch-3 sps. Rep on right side. Bind off. Sew in loose ends.
Halter Straps Neck Ties
Left Strap
Row 1: With CC and front side facing up, join yarn 5" (12.70 cm) to left of the center of corset, hdc in same st and in next 3 sts, turn--4 sts. Row 2: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc), dc in next hdc and in ea hdc across, turn--4 sts. Rows 3-4: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc), dc in next dc and in ea dc across. End with dc in ch 3 made at beg of prev row, turn--4 sts. Row 5: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc), dc in next dc and in ea dc across. End with dc in ch 3 made at beg of prev row, DO NOT TURN, ch 55. (Counts as 1st neck tie). Bind off. Working on same Halter strap, join yarn in 3rd ch 3 made at beg of row 5 (on right hand side), Ch 55. (Counts as 2nd neck tie). Bind off. Sew in loose ends.
Right Strap
Row 1: With CC and front side facing up, join yarn 6 1/2" (16.51 cm) to right of the center of corset, hdc in same st and in next 3 sts to the left, working back toward the center (crocheting right to left), turn--4 sts. Row 2: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc), dc in next hdc and in ea hdc across, turn--4 sts. Rows 3-4: Ch 3, (counts as 1st dc), dc in next dc and in ea dc across. Loops for Lacing
With CC and RS facing up, join yarn in the 4th st of edge trim on row 1, \*ch 3, sk next 2 sts, sc in nexi hdc\*. Rep from \* to \* 6 more times--(7) ch-3 spc. Rep on row: 28 (31, 33, 35, 39, 41, 43, 46, 51). (See photo Below). Bind off. Sew in loose ends.


Left Strap
