Using Judy's Magic Cast-on, Cast-on 4 stitches (2 stitches on each needle). Knit 1 round. K into the from and back of every stitch and divide onto 4 needles (8 stitches). K I round. You will want to mark the beginning of the round at this point. Round 4: (Kf&b, k1) repeat 4 times to complete the round. Round 5 and every other odd round: Knit all stitches. Round 6: (Kf&b, k2) repeat 4 times to complete the round. Round 8: (Kf&b, k3) repeat 4 times to complete the round. Continue increasing in this manner until there are 1l stitches on each needle (44 total). Begin kniting every stitch until the hat measures 9 inches or your desired hat body length. Work a I inch seed stitch brim. Seed Stitch: Round 1: (K1, Pl) repeat across the entire round. Round 2: (P1, K1) repeat across the entire round. Repeat these 2 rounds for 1 inch or until the total hat length is 10 inches, Bind off loosely and weave in ends. Enjoy your new hat!
