A pretty little cowl worked in a luscious cashmere/silk yarn keeps the chill at bay. The openwork ribbed pattern is easily memorized and works up quickly. SUGGESTED YARN Blue Moon Fiber Arts Worthy - Sport (65% Cashmere, 35% Bombyx Silk), 437 yards / 100 grams. Colorway: Aubergenius. 1 skein. MATERIALS Needles: US size 3 (3.25mm), 16" circular Stitch Marker(s) Tapestry needle GAUGE 6.5 sts/inch in Stockinette stitch FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approx. circumference 20", length 6"

INSTRUCTIONS
Cast on 128 stitches and join for working in the round, taking care not to twist stitches. Place marker to denote beginning of round. Work one round of K2/P2 rib. Repeating Aerie Pattern Chart around eight (8) times, work Rounds 1 - 12 three (3) times, then work Rounds 1 - 7 once. Work one round of K2/P2 rib. Bind off. Weave in ends and wet block to finished measurements. Note: The Aerie Pattern is worked over a panel of 16 sts. The stitch count will vary during the course of working the chart; changes are noted in brackets at the end of the appropriate lines in the written instructions.
